How to Play

  1. One player proposes a game; another joins from the list above.
  2. Both players negotiate the piece set — drag pieces in or out of the "Pieces in Play" box. The king is always included.
  3. When both players agree, pieces are randomly placed on the board subject to pawn-rank and bishop-color constraints.
  4. White moves first. Standard chess rules apply — checkmate, stalemate (draw), resign, or draw by agreement.
